Outstanding Advisor Award

Recognizes one advisor per area for their work within BPA at all levels.

We know the work that it takes to build a successful BPA chapter. Texas BPA has two awards to recognize those individuals that go above and beyond to help our students succeed. If you have a Texas BPA Advisor that is doing amazing things for BPA, please take some time to nominate them for the Outstanding Advisor Award. Also, we know that having supportive administrators and superintendents makes doing our job easier. Take the time to help us recognize them for all that they do to support BPA.

For Outstanding Local Advisor Award (one advisor from each area will be recognized)

Nominee must be a current BPA advisor
Nomination must be made by a Texas BPA Advisor or Texas BPA Student

For Distinguished Administrator Award (two administrators will be recognized)

Nominee must be an Administrator or a Superintendent

Applications are due February 1.   We look forward to your nominations as we work to thank these advisors and administrators for all that they do to support our students and our organization.

Torch Awards Program:

The Business Professionals of America's Torch Awards Program is designed to promote professionalism and leadership in both career development and personal growth. Students complete activities in the seven Torch categories - Leadership; Service; Cooperation; Knowledge; Friendship; Love, Hope, Faith; and Patriotism - then log their activities in an online Torch Resume. Recognition is provided at the Local, Regional, State and National levels.

Start earning your Torch Awards points now to be recognized at the State Leadership Conference. To be recognized as a Statesman Award Winner, members must document a minimum of 50 points in each of the torches and submit their resume online by the posted deadline. This year we will be recognizing the member with the highest number of Torch points as Texas Statesman of the Year. The highest Torch points earned in each Area will also be recognized at our Special Recognition Awards at the State Leadership Conference. Dream Bigger!
