Prepared Speech Prelims: 6 judges are needed at the Sheraton Hotel on Thursday, March 1st at 12:00 p.m. for a complimentary lunch in the Press Club, 2nd floor. After an orientation by the contest administrator, they will judge the preliminary round from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Judges must commit to the entire block of time.
Contest description: The student will demonstrate communication skills in research, organization and delivery, as they present an informative speech to the panel of judges.
